As the number of duly nominated male candidates exceeds the number of members to be elected a poll shall be taken by the Returning Officer, Breandán Ó Callarán, Chief Executive Officer.
Polling will take place between 9:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. on Friday, 6th of November, 2009.
Polling Stations will be located in:
- Coláiste na Coiribe, Bóthar Thuama, Gaillimh
- Galway Community College, Móinín na gCiseach, Galway
Polling Cards will be posted to each parent listed on the Parent Electoral Roll (available in all centres of education and VEC HQ). These cards will include such details as the polling date, polling centre and polling number.
