Applicants with Disabilities
The City of Galway VEC is an equal opportunities institution and welcomes applications from students with disabilities. City of Galway VEC will endeavour to ensure that appropriate facilities, where possible and practicable, are available to allow full access and participation for all students.
While there is no obligation on a student to disclose his or her disability, we strongly advise you to inform us in advance so we can arrange facilities and supports to suit your needs.
This can be done initially on the centre’s application form. You should also contact the Access Officer sending all relevant information about yourself - assessments, the nature of your disability, medical information, supports you have had etc. A meeting with the Access Officer should be arranged to discuss your particular needs. All information will be treated confidentially.
