Workplace Basic Education (WBE)
Workplace Basic Education aims to encourage people to return to learning.
Curriculum includes:
reading, writing and every day maths, English for speakers of other languages, communications (workplace documents etc), computers (word processing, booking flights, storing digital photographs, buying on line.
- Skills for Work: We work in partnership with FAS to offer the employees of local companies adult basic education support.
- Return to Learning (LANPAG): We work in partnership with the Local Authority to offer employees the opportunity of attending adult basic education courses during working hours.
- Return to Education: We work in partnership with FAS to offer participants of the Community Employment (CE) schemes the opportunity to attend adult basic education courses as part of their training.
- SkillVEC: We work in partnership with the HSE to provide additional adult basic education support to participants who are pursuing FETAC awards.
- Return to Learning (An Post): We work in partnership with An Post to offer their employees the opportunity of attending adult basic education courses during working hours.
